Default My W/E build...

What do you guys think of my W/E build. It's been pretty effective for me:

Earth Magic: 10
Stength: 11 + 1
Axe: 10 + 1 + 1

Armor of Earth
Unsteady Ground
Dismember
Agonizing Chop
Disrupting Chop
Whirlwind Attack
Endure Pain
Ressurection Signet

The obvious way to run this is to flag hero's/henchmen out of aggro range. Cast Armor of Earth on myself, then get a good strong aggro. Once I have it, unflag hero's/henchies and let them hit with AoE (nukers and such). About 3 seconds after the hero's reach aggro range, I'll cast unsteady ground, and since all foes will be attacking, they will be knocked down, and lay their in all the AoE damage. It's a pretty self-explanitory build, and has proven quite effective for me.

why dont u just use a hammer, use earth shaker as your elite, and use yeti smash and crude swing for even more aoe. If u have 13 strength u can use +20 armor vs elemental insignias, 100AL should be enough I would think.

You're a Warrior, not an ele. If you want to cast spells, then make a spell casting profession.

No he is an W/E. A tank using an axe and using spells to be exact.

I dont think the build is too bad honestly, I just think u could do better with a warrior elite and a non enchantment based source of portection. Earth shaker is great for knocklocking a group, and those other hammer attacks will do more aoe than unstead ground. You also wont be as easily interupted.

Why u want so much work? Flagging...
Even in HM tanking is rarely needed. If needed-anything with PS can soak AOE.
{I hate Roaring Ethers}

Ok, so it seems like the general concensus for my build, if I want to use KD, is that I should switch to Hammer. Thort, I have been realizing more and more that as I vanquish areas, enchantment removal seems to be more prevalent. I find about 50% of the time, by the time I have aggro, my enchantment has been removed 1 way or another. What do you think I should replace it with? Dolyak Signet or something like that? Also, if I remove Armor of Earth and Unsteady Ground, then that removes the necessity of being a W/E. What should I make my 2nd profession in that case?

Karate - It sure sounds like you are promoting NOT thinking outside the box, which I think is a horrible thing to promote. Thinking outside the box is what made a lot of our farming/team builds possible.

Flagging is no work at all. Click once to get the flag, click once to place it, click once to release it. If clicking 3 times is too much work, then I'm not really sure what you consider easy...

Cringe. Warriors should never cast spells beyond utility stuff (rending touch, mending touch, various pve spells etc.). You may aswell use Great Dwarf armour for your 'tank' ench, though the best form of defense is KD/weakness really. Tanking is a mediocre tactic outside gimmicks (the old echo nukeways etc.), you are much more useful as a mobile DPS machine. Hell with things like club of a thousand bears and brawling headbutt you don't need a hammer to KD,THAT is 'outside the box'. Doing something that rubs against a professions very nature does not count as 'outside the box',it's plain stupid.

The problem with thinking outside of the box is that a ton of these skills are years old and might not have been tweaked in years. Most of the useful combos and uses for skills have been figured out, barring some sort of drastic across the board balance.

If you can prove some new new is useful, I'm all for it. I would just like it to be clear that we are at a stage in the game were most things have been discovered.

Xsiriss - It's not like my skillbar is full of all kinds of spells... There are 2 spells, both of which I can cast in succession and still have energy left over for Endure Pain. After that, what should I plan on doing with my energy? I like the adrenaline skills because there seems to be a lot more energy hate than adrenaline hate in PVE. What would you suggest for a build as a "mobile DPS machine"?

Winterclaw - I understand that probably 99% of possible good cominations have been thought of, but it seems like most everyone is running the build of right now, and no one is even attempting builds from way back when. I also understand that as time progresses in GW, more skills are released, some skills are nerfed, etc. I don't feel that the skills I've chosen for my skillbar are bad, but I am apparently wrong.

For AoE KD and damage a Hammer PvE warrior is better , add some points in earth magic for Aftershock in NM if you want but that build has only 2 valid skills imo ( and 1 of them is res sig ).
If you want something to take some damage before you are building up adren for the classic ES+CS+WW use I am Unstoppable ( almost perma if you have someone to buff you with enduring harmony , or going sec P ).
